Titanium CNC Machining Singapore

Titanium CNC machining services to create high-grade components used in aerospace, medical, and automotive industries.

Benefits of Titanium for CNC Machining Projects

Titanium metal has the highest weight to strength ratio out of any metal in the world, making it ideal for parts in high-demand applications such as aircraft engines, automobile parts, andmedical equipment.

CNC-machined titanium components are highly durable, capable of withstanding high temperatures, and corrosion resistant. Titanium also has a high tensile strength and sensitivity to chemical reactions — a consistently controlled environment is required during the CNC machining process to achieve a high-quality cut part.

Monster Builder’s titanium CNC machining facilities in Singapore are carefully monitored to ensure that each part we manufacture meet the specific requirements and standards of our clients and their respective industries.

Features & Benefits of Titanium for CNC Machining Projects

Biocompatibility

Titanium metal has a very low rate of causing adverse effects when used against or within biological matter and the human body, making it ideal for use in medical equipment like syringe needles, surgical tools, and medical implants.

Durability

Titanium parts are highly durable and can withstand consistent use in harsh environments such as at high temperatures or in the face of frequent exposure to weathering. Higher titanium grades (T6AI4V-ELI) also have good fracture toughness, preventing parts from cracking or deforming under pressure.

Resistant to chemical corrosion

Titanium is a non-corrosive metal, making it suitable for sterile environments where the risk of contamination must be kept to a minimum, and for moving parts like in aircraft engines.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does turnaround take?

We can complete orders for clients in Singapore and SEA as quickly as within 10 business days from the date of the invoice payment. Our titanium CNC machining process is equipped with state-of-the-art production capabilities to ensure that your parts are cut and shaped to your exact specifications.

For more complex orders incorporating multiple parts and materials, we may require slightly more time to complete production and delivery. Our team will provide you with a notification of the need for more turnaround time with your free quote.

How do I choose the right material for CNC machining?

Choosing the right material comes down to the requirements of where and what the manufactured part will be used for. If you are unsure of which material would best suit your production needs, we can provide advice in terms of the various characteristics of the metals we work with from durability to corrosion resistance.

What is the minimum order quantity?

We do not have an exact minimum order quantity — small projects and volumes are accepted for our titanium CNC machining services. However, free delivery will only apply for orders over S$50.

Which is better – titanium or stainless steel?

Titanium and stainless steel share many material similarities such as a high level of resistance to chemical corrosion. However, titanium has a much higher tensile strength and is significantly more durable than stainless steel, making it more suited to heavy-duty applications in aerospace and medical industries. Stainless steel offers a more cost-effective option for CNC machined parts that require a moderate level of durability, such as commercial material handling equipment.
