Stainless Steel CNC Machining Singapore

Stainless steel CNC machining for parts across medical instruments, cleanroom equipment, and industrial machinery.

Why Choose Stainless Steel for CNC Machining

Stainless steel is the material of choice for many CNC machined parts, whether for replacement or as a part of custom manufacturing processes.

Featuring high tensile strength, anti-corrosion properties, and ductility, stainless steel CNC machined parts are ideal for different applications. Industries like food and beverage processing and medical equipment development have high sterilisation requirements that can be met by the easy-to-clean and corrosive-resistant nature of stainless steel. The high-temperature resistance of stainless steel also makes it suitable welding components in the construction, automotive, and robotics industries.

Monster Builder’s stainless steel CNC machining services are supported by 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines that can rapidly cut and shape custom parts with a high degree of accuracy. We can also work with a variety of stainless steel grades including 303, 410, 316, and 430.

Advantages & Benefits of Stainless Steel for CNC Machining

Resistant to corrosion

Stainless steel is best known for being a rust and corrosion-resistant metal. CNC-machined stainless steel parts are ideal for applications where equipment and machinery must not be susceptible to contamination due to hygiene concerns such as food processing or medical procedures.

Ease of machinability

Despite being durable, stainless steel is a metal that is easy to cut and shape without requiring complex additional treatments to prepare it for processing. This allows stainless steel CNC machining to produce a reliable standard of uniformity in machined parts.

Cost-effective

Stainless steel alloy is a relatively inexpensive metal, making it a cost-effective option for businesses that require high volumes of replacement or manufactured parts.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long will production take?

Production for most custom-designed cnc machining orders can be completed as soon as within 10 business days. This process will include the manufacturing of the parts as well as a quality check by our team to ensure that they meet your exact specifications. Once production is completed, we will notify you and proceed with shipping the order to you.

What is the minimum order quantity for CNC machining?

We do not have a minimum order quantity requirement for our stainless steel CNC machining services. Our services are tailored towards both small and medium businesses with a lower order volume as well as commercial organisations that require bulk CNC machined parts. We provide free delivery for orders above S$50 in value.

Can you help me with design?

Yes. Our CNC machining specialists and engineers are able to provide you with expert advice for what is possible and ideal for your required part design. If you do not already have a design, please provide us with details of the type of part that you need as well as any supporting schematics — our engineers will then work closely with you to produce detailed 3D CAD designs for your required parts.

What grade of stainless steel do you use?

We use stainless steel grades of 303, 316, 410, and 430. 303-grade stainless steel is commonly used for fittings, screws, and gears, while 316 grade is used for medical purposes and chemical processing equipment. 410 grade stainless steel is suitable for pump and valve parts as well as steam turbine blades, while 430 grade is used for automotive trim and accents as well as in kitchen cookware and appliances.
